Nook Homes X House of Travel - Terms & Conditions

Welcome to the Nook Homes and House of Travel Campaign! Before participating, please review the terms and conditions below:

1. Campaign Overview

‍

1.1 Nook Homes will provide one of up to 3 x $15,000 (NZD)  travel vouchers with House of Travel Albany, to the first three Nook Homes clients ("Winners") who sign a LFA contract to build with Nook. Winners must have signed a long-form agreement with Nook Homes Ltd from competition commencement date, and by the 12th May 2024, to be eligible for the Campaign.

1.2 Campaign Promotion: Nook Homes Ltd will actively promote the campaign ("Campaign") through various channels, including email, social media advertising, and other agreed-upon platforms.

2. Campaign Duration

‍

2.1 The public Campaign will run from Friday 12th April 2024 until 11.59pm Sunday the 12th May 2024. 

‍

3. Competition Prize

‍

3.1 Nook Homes Ltd will conduct the competition. Winners will need to have committed to building a Nook Home before the extended campaign period ends. This means having signed a Long Form contract agreement by the 12th May 2024. Winners will be presented with the voucher upon commencement of their build in the Nook factory.

3.2 Prize is given to the first three Long Form Agreements signed by 11.59pm 12th May 2024.

4. Prize Collection

‍

4.1 Nook Homes Ltd will coordinate the presentation of the voucher to the Client. 

‍

5. Additional Requirement: Short Form and Long Form Agreement, both signed and construction of Nook scheduled and commenced.

‍

5.1 A Short Form Agreement commits to the required on-site scoping requirements and Design Development work. A Long Form Agreement is the final commitment to go ahead with the design and construction of the project with Nook Homes.

6. Personal Information 

‍

6.1 Any personal information collected during the campaign will comply with New Zealand privacy laws. 

‍

7. General 

‍

7.1 Nook will have final decision on all matters relating to a Competition is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

‍

7.2 If for any reason, Nook are not able to conduct a prize draw as planned, including due to tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, any technical difficulties or any other causes beyond Nooks control, which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this prize draw, Nook reserve the right to take any action that may be available.

7.3 Nook will not be liable for any loss, claim, cost, expense, liability or injury (‘Loss’) suffered by any person in any way associated with a promotion including as a result of entry into a Competition or winning a Competition prize, except where such Loss cannot be excluded by law.

7.4 Nothing in these Terms excludes your statutory rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.

‍

7.5 Nook reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions and to extend, postpone or cancel a Competition at any time.

‍

7.6 These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New Zealand and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.

‍

7.7 Nook Competitions are in no way endorsed, sponsored or administered by the social media platforms on which they are advertised.

‍

7.8 Unless otherwise indicated on the post, Nook Competitions are run by Nook Homes Limited, with its registered office at 21-23 Wookey Lane, Auckland 0810.
